Vayu - The Hindu God of Wind

Vayu is the Hindu god of wind, air, and breath. He is considered one of the five primary deities in Hinduism, known as the Pancha Pandavas.

  • Vayu is often depicted as a handsome man with a strong build, carrying a bow and arrow.
  • He is associated with the direction of the east and is considered the god of dawn.
  • Vayu is also revered as the god of war and is often invoked by warriors before battle.
  • He is believed to be the son of the god of the sky, Dyaus.
  • Vayu is also associated with the concept of prana, or life force, and is often invoked by yogis and meditators.
