Panchikarana: The Five Virtues of Lord Krishna

  • Seva (Selfless Service)
  • Dharma (Righteousness)
  • Artha (Prosperity)
  • Kama (Desire)
  • Moksha (Liberation)

Panchikarana is a concept in Hinduism that describes the five virtues or goals of human life, as taught by Lord Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita.

Seva is the practice of selfless service to others, without expectation of reward or recognition.

Dharma is the practice of living a righteous life, following the principles of justice, morality, and duty.

Artha is the pursuit of prosperity and wealth, but not at the expense of one's values and principles.

Kama is the practice of fulfilling one's desires, but in a way that is not harmful to others or oneself.

Moksha is the ultimate goal of human life, which is to attain liberation from the cycle of birth and death, and to realize one's true nature.
