About Maruts

Maruts (Sanskrit: मरुत्, marutaḥ) are the personifications of the wind or storms in Hindu mythology.

They are depicted as powerful, fierce, and wild beings, often associated with the god Indra.

In the Rigveda, Maruts are described as the attendants of Indra, who rides on a chariot pulled by the Maruts.

The Maruts are also associated with the Vedic god of war, who is said to have been born from the body of the god of the sky.
